VB Spine Solutions Debuts to Help Hospitals Acquire Tech

VB Spine Solutions will align with hospitals to simplify how capital equipment is placed.

VB Spine has launched VB Spine Solutions, a program the company designed to bring critical spine technology to hospitals more quickly, with structures built around patient need.

The program will align with hospitals to simplify how capital equipment is placed so surgeons and care teams can remain focused on outcomes. This includes access to capital equipment that VB Spine owns, as well as equipment from other manufacturers.

The model is partnership-led and designed to eliminate traditional capital barriers.

“VB Spine Solutions is about removing obstacles,” said Marc Viscogliosi, co-CEO of VB Spine, speaking on behalf of his brothers and fellow co-CEOs Anthony and John Viscogliosi. “It’s a simple way to bring technology into the OR sooner, providing patients with state-of-the-art care.”

The program is currently available in the U.S. and lets hospitals explore structures that fit their financial and clinical goals.

Last month, the company completed the acquisition of exclusive rights to the xvision Spine System from Augmedics. The deal added augmented reality (AR) navigation to the company’s enhanced visualization portfolio. Augmedics reportedly is the first company to offer an FDA-cleared AR navigation platform in spine surgery, giving the company a potential advantage in AR-enabled spine solutions.
